JobFit - JobFit
Use this tool to find out what kind of training programs and occupations are a good “fit” for you. We’ll also use your information to help us match you with employers that are looking for your skills and traits. JobFit can be reached by clicking on the link above. It will take you about one hour to complete the assessment.
Daily Job Search Workshops
Generally our topics include how to write a resume, how to interview for a job, and how to use the computer to find work. Please click on the link above to find out about the current schedule. Most classes last about two hours.
Career Research Library
Find out how to get that first job or how to research a new career. You can even get some helpful hints on what to do if you’ve lost your job. And, if you’re interested in training opportunities, we have catalogs from a variety of schools, colleges, and training institutions. Financial aid information is also available.
Resource Equipment
You can use our on-site computers to prepare or update your resume or to access employment information on the Internet. And, you can use our telephones to schedule job interviews, or use our copiers and faxes to send your resume to potential employers.
