Smitty spent many years selflessly serving his community. DESCRIPTION:Come to Minerva Public Library for an engaging educational program focused on protecting your skin and eyes from the sun’s harmful rays. Participants will learn how ultraviolet (UV) light affects the skin and eyes and why sun protection is essential at every age. The program will cover the importance of sunscreen\, the different types of skin cancer\, and practical steps individuals can take to be proactive about sun safety. Participants will also learn how to choose an effective sunscreen and what to look for on the label to ensure proper protection. \nThose attending will have an opportunity to have their facial skin assessed by a facial skin scanner machine to observe for signs of sun damage. The scan is meant to be an educational tool and no diagnosis will be given. The responsibility to follow-up on skin damage and obtain further medical help will be the responsibility of the participant. This program is free to the public\, but reservations are requested by calling the Minerva Public Library at 330-868-4101.

He quickly became a key part of the Steelers’ dominant defense during the 1970s. During his career\, Ham was a 4-time Super Bowl champion\, 8-time Pro Bowler\, and 6-time First-Team All-Pro. He recorded 32 interceptions and was known for his versatility in pass defense.
