It presents an opportunity for people to be empowered through their canine companion partnerships and to contribute to cancer cures through the mission of the American Cancer Society. \n\n\n\n\nFun & Games for Beach Goers 6 pm (Dogs not allowed at beach until 7 pm) \nTuscarawas County K-9 Demonstration 6 pm ; Dog Registration at the Beach 7 pm; Opening Parade 7:15 pm (survivor lap to follow); Beach Opens “Hot Dog Swim” 7:30 pm; Doggie Costume Contest 7:45 pm; Dogs Got Talent 8:15 pm; Luminaria Light Up The Beach 9 pm \n\n\n\n$10 for the first dog\, $5 each additional dog. The first 50 dogs registered will receive a bandana! We will have demonstrations\, games\, prizes\, vendors\, and much more!

Presale tickets are $10 for age 12 and older\, $5 for ages 6-11\, and free for age 5 and younger. Tickets at the gate will be $12 and $6. All seating is general admission. \nThe Minerva Firefighters Association will offer food vendors and a beer garden in the park all day\, and a free concert by Chris Kraft following the rodeo at 9 pm. \nTriple Crown sponsors of this event are Dave Catlett Construction\, Loudon Motors Ford\, Kishman’s IGA\, and Pole Barns Direct.

SUMMARY:Brick Street Art & Jazz Festival
DESCRIPTION:The eighth annual Brick Street Art & Jazz Festival will come to Minerva’s North Market Street on Saturday\, May 19\, 11 am-7 pm. The festival will feature professional jazz bands\, including Blu Monsoon\, AZJazz\, Erbo and the Buzz Factor\, and the Alliance Symphony Orchestra Big Band\, as well as four high school jazz bands. There will also be a wide variety of fine crafts and art available for sale\, food vendors\, artist demonstrations\, the Art Bus walk-through gallery\, a drum circle\, kids’ art area\, a public typewriter\, a giant xylophone\, photography contest\, strolling magic\, and many more interactive activities for all ages. \nThe schedule of bands is: 10 am – Denny Ott; 11 am – Minerva High School Jazz Band; 11:45 am – Blu Monsoon; 1 pm – Northwest High School Jazz Band; 1:50 pm – The Furnace Street Jazz Band; 3:05 pm – Tom Freeland & Amie Hill Fankhauser; 3:55 pm – Erbo & The Buzz Factor; 5:10 pm – Beaver Local High School Jazz Band; 6 pm – Alliance Symphony Orchestra Big Band.
