DESCRIPTION:The Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to our Annual Dinner & Community Salute Awards on Thursday\, May 21\, 2026\, featuring Pro Football Hall of Famer and Pittsburgh Steelers legend Jack Ham\, at the Grand Venue at Great Trail Golf Course & Brewing Company.\n\n\n\nThe night begins with a 5:30 p.m. cocktail hour\, where guests will have the opportunity to meet Jack Ham. A special Q&A will follow at 6 p.m.\n\n\n\nJack Ham is a former professional football linebacker who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1971 to 1982. Widely regarded as one of the best linebackers of his era\, he was known for his speed\, intelligence\, and ability to read plays. A standout at Penn State University\, Ham earned All-American honors before being selected in the 2nd round of the 1971 NFL Draft. He quickly became a key part of the Steelers’ dominant defense during the 1970s. During his career\, Ham was a 4-time Super Bowl champion\, 8-time Pro Bowler\, and 6-time First-Team All-Pro. He recorded 32 interceptions and was known for his versatility in pass defense. He was inducted into both the College Football Hall of Fame (1990) and the Pro Football Hall of Fame\, and remains a member of multiple all-time teams\, including the NFL 1970s All-Decade Team.\n\n\n\nDinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.\, catered by Scratch Catering Services\, followed by our awards program and a presentation by Mike Gallina\, Vice President of Organizational Development and Community Engagement\, The Aultman Health System. He will present “The Collaborative Spirit of Minerva’s Business Community ~ Why you win!”\n\n\n\nThe cost of the event is $50/person for members and their guests\, and $55/person for non-members. SUMMARY:Auditions for "Rumors" at the Roxy Theatre
DESCRIPTION:Open auditions will be held Thursday-Saturday\, June 18-20\, for a community theater production of Neil Simon’s “Rumors” to be performed at the Roxy Theatre Oct. 1-3.  Auditions will be at The Roxy Theatre 4-7 p.m. and are open to adults age 18+.\n\n\n\n“Rumors” is a farcical comedy by Neil Simon that premiered in 1988\, centered on four couples attending a 10th-anniversary party for New York’s Deputy Mayor Charley Brock and his wife\, Myra\, only to learn Charley has a gunshot wound to the earlobe and Myra is missing. As more guests arrive\, they try to cover up the scandal\, leading to a chaotic night of mistaken identities\, wild fabrications\, and escalating confusion\, all driven by Simon’s signature witty\, rapid-fire dialogue and slapstick humor.\n\n\n\nThe cast of characters includes 5 men and 5 women:\nLenny Ganz\, Claire Ganz\, Ken Gorman\, Chris Gorman\, Ernie Cusack\, Cookie Cusack\, Glenn Cooper\, Cassie Cooper\, Officer Ben Welch\, and Officer Pudney\n\n\n\nIndividuals will be asked to perform a monologue of their choice and participate in cold readings from the script.\n\n\n\nFor more information\, contact Louie Pilati at 330-205-1417; or the Chamber of Commerce office 330-868-7979 or nathan.meadows@minervachamber.org\n\n\n\nThe Roxy Theatre is located at 114 N.
