DESCRIPTION:Minerva Public Library will host the OSU Extension Gardening & Raised Bed program on Monday\, April 15th @ 6pm. \nThere are four top things you can do now to help your garden as soon as spring is here to stay. \n\nDecide where to place your garden. Location\, location\, location… The best garden spot is in full sun\, which is usually in a south-facing location. You can grow your fruits and vegies directly in the ground\, in a raised bed\, or in a variety of containers.\nGet your garden supplies now. We’re talking seeds\, cell packs\, soil and/or soilless mix\, tools\, gloves\, sun hat. Some favorite seed varieties can be hard to find\, so it pays to start searching for your seed early.\nTest your soil for existing and needed fertilizer. Getting test results from a professional lab helps you get the soil prepped for ideal growing conditions.\nThink about starting seed indoors while the weather is still iffy outside. Lettuce\, broccoli\, onions\, kale\, and radishes are all good vegies to get started inside. When it’s time to take your seeds and seedlings outside\, plant according to soil temperature\, not air temperature – because the soil surrounding the seeds directly impacts germination and plant growth rate.

With the help of Donkey\, he rescues Princess Fiona in an attempt to regain control of his land\, but ends up getting more than he had bargained for in the princess. \nA few included in the cast are as follows: Catcher Laha as Shrek\, Bella Gambone as Fiona\, Gavin Nagy as Donkey\, Michael Porter as Lord Farquaad\, Caliegh Mikes as Pinocchio\, Carys Hooser as Gingy\, and Brett Bennett as the Magic Mirror.

DESCRIPTION:Deuce ‘n a Quarter is a Blues Band playing original and classic blues songs. They were recently placed at the top of the 2023 Blues International Challenge and Brian was awarded the Lee Oskar Best Harmonica Player Award \nIn 1959 the top of the line Buick was the new Electra. Borrowing from the styling’s of the Cadillac and the Oldsmobile\, with chromed grill and fins\, this car measured in at 225 inches or a “deuce ‘n a quarter”. \nWith its power and smooth ride the deuce ‘n a quarter quickly became an American classic. Although it was built for comfort not speed\, when you dressed one up it became an affordable luxury automobile for the working man “the poor man’s Cadallic”! \nJust like the automobile\, the band Deuce ‘n a Quarter is built for comfort not speed. But make no mistake\, when they perform their original music paired with classic American blues\, they are bound to get you moving. Through an authentic connection with their audience and listeners\, this band is becoming another American classic.
