SUMMARY:Minerva Chamber Rodeo
DESCRIPTION:Events will get under way at noon with Sierra Sue’s Wild West Music Show on the stage. There will also be pony rides\, a petting zoo\, stick-horse making\, and other kids’ activities\, as well as food and commercial vendors in the park. Kids’ fun rodeo events will begin at 3 p.m.\, including stick-horse races and mutton busting preliminaries\, to be followed by the main show\, presented by Buckeye Rodeo Company\, at 7 p.m. Mutton busting finals and the calf scramble will take place during the rodeo. Following the rodeo\, at 9 p.m.\, the Minerva Firemen’s Association is sponsoring a performance on the stage by country band 23 Southbound. A beer garden provided by the firemen’s association will be set up in the park all day and the previous evening during the Minerva vs. Carrollton alumni football game. \nTickets can be purchased at Kishman’s IGA\, Consumers National Bank – Minerva Branch\, Minerva Dairy\, Loudon Motors Ford\, Minerva Gionino’s\, Studio C Salon\, Minerva Area YMCA\, and the Chamber office\, or at www.eventbrite.com. Presale tickets are $10 for age 12 and older\, $5 for ages 6-11\, and free for age 5 and younger. Tickets at the gate will be $12 and $6.
