This event will feature the music of Ireland and Scotland, from traditional to contemporary, performed on pipes, bouzouki, fiddle, penny whistle, guitar, bodhran, and vocals.
Performers will include traditional Irish band Bealtaine from Pittsburgh, which is Conor Freeland, George White, and Bill Buchko, George Smith of the Carnegie Mellon Pipe Band, Tom Freeland, Jim GraySmith, Kaitlyn GraySmith, Andrew McNutt, and Amie Hill Fankhauser. Harpist? Dancers?
Baked goods, including Scottish shortbread, scones, whiskey cake, Irish dairy cake, and double fudge Irish cream cookies, will be available by donation, and chances will be available for a Celtic raffle basket.
All proceeds will benefit improvements at the Roxy, which is currently undergoing renovations. The Community Building is located at 123 Brock Ave.
