Please join First Presbyterian Church, 204 Edgewood Drive, Minerva, for Contra Dance on Saturday, Feb. 1, 7-9 p.m., for a free event for ALL ages.
One String Short will play jigs, reels, waltzes, airs, polkas, and marches from Ireland, Appalachia, Scotland, New England, and beyond! Live calling, no partner needed, beginners welcome!
Contra dancing is a social dance that one can attend without a partner. The dancers form couples, and the couples form sets of two couples in long lines starting from the stage and going down the length of the dance hall.
