The Minerva High School STEM Makerspace will be open Saturday, Jan. 13, 9 a.m.-noon. Participants can learn about and use the available equipment, including:
*A laser engraver that can engrave anything but metal. Leather, acrylic, wood, coasters, keychains and a few other things are in stock.
*3D Printers. You can make your own custom design or find one online and print it.
*Drones to practice and learn on with materials to construct your own course to fly.
*Radio-controlled planes to practice and learn on.
*Soldering materials, hand tools, and supplies to make or repair your own things.
