Minerva’s Cars Are the Stars 2025

Racing Through History 1/4 Mile at a Time on the Historic Bricks in Downtown Minerva

The fifth annual The Cars are the Stars fine automobile exhibition, starring 65 hand-picked, by-invitation-only premiere vehicles and benefiting Minerva’s Roxy Theatre, is Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025. And is in conjunction with the Molta Bella Auto Show the following day on Sunday, Sept. 14, in Akron, OH.

The show will be held on Minerva’s historic North Market Street and run from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m., featuring a hand-selected assembly of rare and historically significant vehicles from the drag racing community. There will be no parade of cars this year nor will there be a car corral. The focus will be put solely on the cars uptown when you enter the gates.

The event will begin with a Live music will be provided by Luke Schreffler, 12 to 2 p.m., and T. Free & the Panic Attacks, 12 to 5 p.m. Great food will be available from Here to Serve Bar-B-Que, Dudley’s G’s Pizza World, and Minerva’s downtown restaurants, and Family Favorites baked goods will be offered by donation.

Minerva’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area will be in effect 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., the day of the exhibition, so patrons can purchase beverages from The Normandy Inn, Stoney Inn, Que Pasa Mexican Restaurant, and Sandy Springs Brewing Co. and carry them throughout the DORA.

Tickets to the exhibition are $10 per person or $20 per family (up to four people from the same household) and are available for purchase at the gate or on ticketspice.com.

All proceeds from this event will support improvements at the Roxy Theatre, which is owned by the Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce.
