The Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce presents “Murder Gallops Along,” a murder mystery dinner theater benefiting the Roxy Theatre, on Saturday, July 8th, featuring the Roxy Theatre Players.

The play tells the story of the fine folks of Mesilla Valley, New Mexico, as they gather for the annual chili cook-off. Tempers run high as the outlaw, Johnny Bingo, rolls into town and starts shooting up the place. Can Marshall Duke and his deputy Fester save the town from the outlaw or vice versa? Will Clancey Berringer, the local cardshark, win his hand of cards and possibly the hand of the school teacher Miss Prunebacher? Will Miss Liddy’s Chili cook-off go off without a hitch? Who will survive? Only you can help solve the case in this wacky Wild West spoof of a murder mystery.

Admission includes a four-course meal, a load of laughs and audience participation. Doors open at 6 and the show starts at 7. Cash Bar is available
