“Wildlife Rescue” & Lunch with Officer Tony

June 26 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

Minerva’s Municipal Park will host “Wildlife Rescue,” a Stark Parks program, on Thursday, June 26, 10:30 a.m., at Minerva’s Municipal Park Stage, followed by lunch with Minerva Schools Resource Officer Tony Albertoni.

Meet some of Stark Parks live animal ambassadors. These animals cannot be released back into the wild due to their injuries, and we will hear each of their stories during the presentation. You will also find out what to do if you find an injured wild animal. The program is free, interesting for all ages, and will last approximately an hour. Please do not bring dogs to the program, as they frighten the ambassador animals.

Families are invited to bring packed lunches and stay for lunch with Officer Tony following the program.

Attendees should bring chairs or blankets to sit on. Municipal Park is located on 2nd Street, adjacent to Minerva High School, 501 Almeda Ave., Minerva. In case of rain, the program will be held in the Community Building. For more information, contact the Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce at 330-868-7979 or denise.freeland@minervachamber.org.
