“William McKinley’s Stop in Stark County That Lasted Forever”

Minerva Public Library will present Mark Holland, archivist from the McKinley Presidential Library and Museum, on Monday, July 14, 6:30 p.m., speaking about William McKinley, his new bride, Ida Saxton McKinley, and their life in Canton, Ohio. Canton became a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the capital city. See how William McKinley rose to a seat in The United States Congress, his victories and defeats.
