Krackpots Comedy Club brings Dennis Regan to the Roxy Theatre Saturday, Nov. 15, 7:30 p.m.

Dennis Regan hit his first open-mic night at Coconuts Comedy Club in north Miami in 1987. Four months later, he won a local contest. A month after that, a club owner paid him $30 a set to do his 10 minutes on the weekend.

The next year Dennis moved to New York City and began doing late night shows and started to break into the main line-up of all the important clubs: The Improv, The Comic Strip, The Comedy Cellar, Catch A Rising Star, and Dangerfields. He has been on television dozens of times. Multiple appearances on the Late Show with David Letterman and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He has also been on Showtime and Comedy Central.

Dennis Regan has been doing comedy for more thab 20 years. He has headlined most of the major comedy clubs in the states. He has also traveled to every one of the 50 states except for maybe Arkansas, as well as working on cruise ships, colleges, Vegas, Atlantic City, traveled to China and Ireland.
